💚 How It Works
CNS Nourish Together ensures every dollar is used with intention. Each basket donation is matched with a verified family in need, purchased directly from local markets, and delivered with care.
1️⃣ Donation Received
Once a basket goal ($110 or $220) is reached, the donation is activated for fulfillment. Every contribution, large or small, helps complete a family’s grocery basket.
2️⃣ Family Selected
Our team reviews verified petitions from families who have applied for assistance. We match each funded basket to a family based on household size and urgency.
3️⃣ Basket Prepared
The requested grocery items are purchased directly from trusted local markets. Our volunteers organize the contents to align with each family’s food preferences and needs.
4️⃣ Delivery Coordinated
Once ready, we contact the family to confirm their availability. Deliveries are scheduled only when the household confirms someone will be present to receive their basket.
5️⃣ Basket Delivered
A local driver delivers the basket directly to the family’s doorstep. Confirmation photos are taken upon delivery for transparency and donor accountability.
Every step is documented to ensure that each contribution reaches the intended family — no middlemen, no waste, just community impact.

If your household is facing hardship, food insecurity, or has been affected by benefit interruptions, you can submit a petition to be considered for a grocery basket. Our review team selects recipients weekly based on need, household size, and available baskets.
